The Batman series by Daniel Norris

What’s going on? Up to the point when The Hunger Games started to receive an incredible amount of marketing appeal by all demographics, The Avengers was the hot topic. What baffles me is not that it is now overshadowed by The Hunger Games, but that it overshadows the upcoming Dark Knight Rises. This is surprising, considering the overwhelmingly positive reception received for The Dark Knight. Understandably, The Amazing Spider-Man isn’t getting too much attention, despite the amazing cast it has (no pun intended). I guess people are still sour over the third Sam Raimi film back in 2007 and the reboot is arriving too soon.
The question remains: Why are people getting more hyped about The Avengers than The Dark Knight Rises?
I suppose a significan reason lies within the release dates of the films. The Avengers arguably opens the queue of summer blockbusters and simply is more current than the distant TDKR.
I’m interested in knowing if my hypothesis is correct. Feel free to comment.
Probably because The Dark Knight Rises looks like shit.
I’m presonally not excited for TDKR at all. TDK was a great film, but for some reason I’m not really left wanting more....
